This policy explains what personal data ModestRise (“we”, “us”) collects when you use modestrise.com or contact us about an order, and what we do with it. We are a modest-wear manufacturer working with business customers, so most of the data we hold is business-contact information.
Who we are
ModestRise operates this website. Our website address is https://modestrise.com. For any privacy question, email abby@modestrise.com.
What we collect
- Information you send us. When you use the quote form on our Contact page, or email or message us, we receive what you provide: your name, email address, company, the products and quantities you’re asking about, and any files you attach such as tech packs, sketches or reference photos.
- Order and business records. If we work together, we keep the details needed to make and ship your order: contact and delivery details, specifications, approved samples, inspection records and invoices.
- Technical data. Like most websites, our server records your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We use this to keep the site secure and working.
We don’t ask for payment card details through this website.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare quotes and samples.
- To manufacture, inspect, ship and invoice your orders, and to match reorders to the original.
- To keep the website secure and prevent spam or abuse.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We don’t sell your personal data, and we don’t use it to build advertising profiles.
Cookies
This site uses only the cookies needed for it to work, such as those set by the shop and forms software. It does not currently use advertising cookies. If we add analytics or advertising tools in future, we’ll update this page first.
When you click a WhatsApp link on our site, you leave modestrise.com and your conversation is handled under WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy.
Who we share it with
We share data only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as far as needed: our hosting and email provider (Hostinger), freight forwarders and couriers who deliver your goods, and inspection agencies you or we nominate for an order. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
Where your data is handled
Our factory and team are in China, so information you send us is processed there and on our hosting provider’s servers. By contacting us you understand your data will be transferred to and handled in those locations.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t become orders are kept for as long as they’re useful for follow-up, and you can ask us to delete them at any time. For customers, we keep order records, approved samples, patterns and inspection files for as long as the relationship lasts, so that a reorder a year later matches the original, and for as long as the law requires us to keep invoices and accounts.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Where the law of your country gives you further rights, such as objecting to processing or asking for a copy of your data, we’ll respect them. Email abby@modestrise.com and we’ll reply as soon as we can. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your data, including restricting access to those who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please don’t send confidential information that you aren’t comfortable emailing. If you need a signed NDA before sharing designs, ask us and we’ll sign yours.
Children
This website is intended for business customers. It is not directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
