Why Us

ModestRise is a modest-wear factory. We make abayas, hijabs, khimars, prayer sets and modest sportswear in our own building in China, for brands, boutiques and wholesalers who sell under their own label. Here is why buyers work with us, and how you can check each point yourself.

We own the factory

We have been making modest wear under one roof since 2016, in a three-floor, 4,200 m² building. There is no broker and no second factory doing the work behind the scenes. About 70% of what we make carries a customer’s own label. Read more on our Who We Are page.

A real 50-piece minimum

The minimum is 50 pieces per style and colour, because that is where setting up a line and running a proper inspection makes sense. Nothing we sell is bought-in stock, and a 50-piece run is made on the same machines as a 5,000-piece one.

You see the quality before you pay the balance

Five checks run through production: a single dye lot per style with a shade band you approve, a three-point inline check at 30% completion, daylight opacity testing, an AQL 2.5 final inspection, and a photo record at every handover. The inspection photos reach you before the 70% balance is due. If a lot fails, you choose rework at our cost or a credit.

Certifications, with their scope stated

OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 and GRS 4.0 apply to the fabrics that carry them. BSCI audit, ISO 9001:2015 and REACH compliance apply at facility level. We send the certificates and test reports as PDFs on request.

We tell you what we can’t do

We don’t run a fabric mill, in-house printing or a dye plant; those are outsourced to partners we have used for years. Hand embroidery is our real capacity limit, so embellished Eid work should be booked 8–10 weeks ahead. When we quote 25–40 days, the 40 is the real end of the range for a complex style.

Your design stays yours

For OEM work the design is exclusively yours. We don’t produce it for anyone else or list it in our catalogue, and we will sign your NDA. Sample fees are credited against production, and the pattern and specification stay yours even if you don’t go ahead. Reorders run in 10–15 days from the records we keep on file.

How to check us

  • Ask for a live video call and name the machine you want to see.
  • Ask for our BSCI report and the certificate for the fabric you are considering.
  • Visit the factory. Video calls and visits are free, and visits need about a week’s notice.
  • Bring your own inspector. SGS, Bureau Veritas and Intertek have all inspected on our floor.

Payment

30% deposit to start production and 70% before shipment. Bank transfer is standard; agents, escrow and LCs are fine with us.
